LEAKED Recording of Occupation Negotiations

This is a secret recording of negotiations before students and management during the Rootes Building occupation of December 2014.

A group of Warwick activists arranged a meeting with our university management, which we secretly recorded. With the upcoming summit on peaceful protest this week, held to explore the ways in which protest and dissent play out at Warwick University (an opportunity we feel that Warwick management will likely use to attempt to present themselves as co-operative and supportive of the right to protest), we thought now would be a great time to release our audio records of the negotiation attempts that were undertaken with university management during the December Rootes occupation, in order to show just how difficult and unreceptive Warwick University management can be to the students that make up their community.
