Bloomberg is a leading distributor of financial information, news and ideas. It seems, however, that the company needs to turn an analytical lens towards its own practices as their cleaners prepare for 3 days of strike action next week. This is part of a continuing struggle over pay and conditions.

Cleaners from the worker-run union, Independent Workers’ of Great Britain, successfully mounted a campaign for living wage last year. This included a brief occupation of the London office followed by a noisy demonstration outside. They won the living wage in November 2014 and it was updated to the 2014 rate when they announced strike action earlier this month.
